Consorzio Soave Masterclass

Soave: A Premier Terroir of Italy
Exploring young and older vintages from volcanic to limestone Soils

The Soave appellation stands as one of Italy’s venerable wine regions, distinguished by its diverse soil composition ranging from volcanic to limestone. This geological variety propels the wines of Soave to heights of exceptional quality.

The ethos of Soave’s winemakers is captured in three principles: identity, contemporary, and uncompromising.

These producers are deeply committed to preserving and enhancing the scenic beauty of their vineyards. Soave’s unique agricultural significance has been recognized by the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO), which designated the region as a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System (GIAHS). This acknowledgment highlights the dedication and sometimes heroic efforts of vine growers who maintain this landscape through their cultivation practices.

An exclusive tasting event and a detailed masterclass, led by the renowned  drinks business contributor Filippo Bartolotta, will offer attendees the opportunity to sample some of the most emblematic and representative wines from Soave, spanning the youngest to the oldest vintages.

This event promises an enriching deep dive into the extraordinary qualities of this storied region.

Mark your calendars for June 26, 2024, and join us for a journey through the rich wine heritage of Soave!
