WASHINGTON STATE WINES

Dive into the diversity of Washington State Wines

On Wednesday 22nd February 2023 at 10.30am, Rose Murray Brown MW will guide attendees through a masterclass and tasting of a top selection of Washington State Wines, discovering their terroirs and flavour profiles.

Washington State is the second-largest wine region in the United States, cultivating over 70 grape varieties.

With 20 growing regions, each AVA possesses a unique combination of climate, topography and soils, which define the aromas and flavours of locally grown grapes, and the wines crafted from them.

The state’s northern position offers a growing season that sees up to 17 hours of sunlight a day followed by cool nights, which help maintain natural acidity and make the region a grape growing haven.

In the masterclass, you will discover how Washington State Wines are able to combine the vibrant fruit character expected of American wine, with the defined structure typical of the Old World.

This masterclass is a must for anyone seeking to (re)discover Washington State Wines – register here before places are booked up!
