Moët Hennessy reveals new ‘Les Caves Particulières’ at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport

Moët Hennessy Travel Retail, Extime Duty Free Paris and Lagardère Travel Retail has celebrated the 10-year anniversary of the first ‘Les Caves Particulières’ boutique at Charles de Gaulle Airport with a new store in Terminal 2F.

The unique experience allows travellers to “take a taste of French Art de Vivre home with them”, the brand said.

Aiming to “represent the pinnacle of French luxury”, the boutique invites visitors to delve into the “essence of French Champagne” and spirits through engaging and personalised experiences.

From discovering products through ‘Destination Champagne’, its new digital consultation, and tastings and personalisation services, the boutique ensures a “fully immersive journey”, it said, into the Moët Hennessy’s portfolio of French brands.

Exclusive design

Exclusively designed for Parisian airports, ‘Les Caves Particulières’ retail concept plays with clay stone as “an echo to Champagne cellars”, and with the wood shipping crates, which are a tribute to Hennessy’s spirit of conquest.

The boutique showcases the complete range of Moët Hennessy’s Champagne and Cognac brands, including the renowned Moët & Chandon, Veuve Clicquot, Ruinart, Dom Pérignon, Krug, Armand de Brignac Champagnes, and Hennessy Cognacs.

It offers an extensive selection of products, featuring exclusive rarities and formats, such as back vintages and large formats for all the brands, including Moët & Chandon Collection Impériale, Veuve Clicquot Cave Privée, Ruinart Blanc de Blancs Champagne Magnum or Dom Pérignon Plénitude 2.

To celebrate the opening, a pop-up event was held in a JC Decaux media space adjacent to the boutique from 28 June to 8 July.

This event featured four exclusive editions of iconic French Maisons: Moët & Chandon French Edition, Veuve Clicquot ‘Paris’ Arrow, Veuve Clicquot ‘Paris’ Travel Exclusive, and Hennessy X.O. Paris Edition.

The pop up featured a Parisian concept complete with paper-cut monuments, a fresh flower kiosk, and a café terrace. At the pop-up, consumers also had the opportunity to write tailor-made “From Paris with Love” postcards to send to loved ones.

The boutique’s setup and offerings will evolve throughout the year, aligning with key events and festivities, such as the upcoming Summer Olympic Games in Paris and the end of year season, ensuring that travellers always have something new and exciting to discover.
