The Drinks Bureau raises funds for LGBTQ+ charity with canned RTDs

The Drinks Bureau is celebrating Pride Month by donating 10p from each can of its Shirley canned cocktail range to combat the rising number of LGBTQ+ people facing homelessness.

The Drinks Bureau raises funds for LGBTQ+ charity with canned RTDs

Mixologist and entrepreneur Frankie Snobel launched The Drinks Bureau in November 2023 with a range of cocktails in cans and bag-in-box formats.

Now, the company has announced it is raising funds and support for Stonewall Housing, a national LGBTQ+ charity, with two of its RTDs — Dirty Shirley and non-alcoholic Shirley Temple.

Founded in 1983, Stonewall Housing provides specialist housing advice, advocacy and support for LGBTQ+ people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, with specialisms in mental health, domestic abuse, substance abuse and supported accommodation.

Last year saw the highest number of referrals in one single quarter in Stonewall Housing’s 40-years of operating.

The Drinks Bureau pledges to donate 10p of every can sold from now until end of August to support the services provided by Stonewall Housing.

Steven McIntyre, Stonewall Housing CEO, said: “I am just delighted that The Drinks Bureau are partnering with us to help to raise awareness of LGBTQ+ homelessness and of course much needed funds for the charity. Every single day we see more and more LGBTQ+ people finding themselves homeless and it is not an exaggeration to say we simply couldn’t do our work without our incredible supporters. On behalf of the 3300 LGBTQ+ people we worked with last year, thank you.”

The Shirley’s will be listed at select wholesalers, including LWC, Matthew Clark, DrinksOne and Hammonds of Knutsford. Shirley Temple cans have an RRP of £12.00 per four-pack, while a four-pack of Dirty Shirley cans have an RRP of £15.00.

Stonegate Group, the UK’s leading pub company, has also announced its plan to feature the Dirty Shirley and non-alcoholic Shirley Temple as limited-edition pride cocktails across over 1,100 bars, pubs and clubs nationwide.
