The Exhibition
Over 50 producers will showcase a great variety of grapes from north to south Italy. This is a unique opportunity to taste well-known wines as well as some hidden gems. Some of them are already represented in the UK whilst others are seeking local representation.
Special features will include a masterclass held at 11.30 by Peter Ballantyne, Master of Wine, on ‘Sicily: The New World of Italy’” with some fine wines from one of the most exciting Italian regions.
Italy is simply located in the perfect place on Earth for the flourishing of wine grapes. Each native Italian grape has its own unique character, taste, and texture. With some estimates of 2,000 native grape varietals in Italy, there is certainly an Italian wine for everyone’s taste. With wineries joining us from Piedmont to Campania you will have a great selection, to taste in Lindley Hall, near Victoria, London from 11.00am to 7pm on Thursday 20th April.
