Abruzzo Masterclass – 18th November
Come to Cambridge on 18 November for a journey to discover Abruzzo with Michelle Cherutti-Kowal MW.
A unique region in Italy, nestled between the Adriatic Sea and the Gran Sasso and Majella massifs, Abruzzo sees history and agricultural tradition give life to wines known throughout the world.
In this masterclass, the Consorzio Tutela Vini d’Abruzzo (Consortium for the Protection of Abruzzo Wines) has selected the best expressions of its most important appellations.
Starting with Pecorino and Trebbiano d’Abruzzo whites, the tasting will continue with six reference points for Montepulciano d’Abruzzo – the most representative of the region’s indigenous grape varieties – from different territories and vintages. This is a great opportunity to discover the potential of an iconic wine in the Italian production pantheon.
