Spell it out with Tullibardine
Stuck for a Christmas gift idea? Highland whisky distillery Tullibardine is set to offer two options to help with what is always a difficult decision. One is a personalised whisky bottle, and the other, aimed at the serious whisky enthusiast, is a personalised cask.
The bottle contains Tullibardine’s 1993 single malt, and the labels can be printed with a special message.
The personalised cask also features the single malt. It is a limited edition, available in two different sizes in either a sherry or a bourbon barrel. Each cask is then stencilled with the owner’s name, and the whisky is stored at the distillery for 10 years to mature. During this time, a barrel owner can visit and have a taster dram.
Once the whisky has been matured, the contents of the whole cask will be bottled, and personalised labels can be added to complete the package. A photograph of the cask, along with a certificate of authentication will be sent out in time for Christmas.
The personalised bottle costs £29.50, and cask prices start at £1,000 per cask.
