New harvest of Masters of Wine
Fifteen new Masters of Wine will be inaugurated into the Institute at the annual ceremony later this year. This year’s successful candidates hail from eight different countries including Hong Kong and Brazil.
The successful European candidates come from the UK, Spain, France and Sweden. Of the remaining Masters of Wine, three came from the US and one from Canada.
Joanna Locke MW, chairman of the IMW said: “I am absolutely delighted to welcome so many new Masters of Wine to the Institute this year and I congratulate them all on their tremendous achievements.”
The new MWs will be presented with their certificates by the Master of the Vintner’s Company at the Institute’s Annual Reception and Awards Ceremony on Wednesday 5th November in Vintner’s Hall, London.
