Pumpkin brew marks summer’s end
It may be August but Dorset’s Hall & Woodhouse is already preparing for autumn with the launch of a special brew for cooler evenings – pumpkin ale.
The seasonal beer comes under the Badger brand and is housed in a new, taller bottle.
The ale is described as having caramelised flavours of roast pumpkin and cloves and is 4.6% ABV. The brewer recommends using it in pumpkin soup, or serving with pumpkin pie or carrot cake.
Hall & Woodhouse is based in Blandford, Dorset, and is the largest regional family brewer of premium ales in the UK.
