Cognac salutes entrepreneurs
Courvoisier has announced the UK entrepreneurs that have made it onto its “The Future 500” list. This forms part of an ongoing campaign from Beam Global UK …
… for the Cognac brand in which entrepreneurs in 10 business arenas were asked to submit applications to be included in the network. The campaign has been conducted together with the Observer, and is now supported by a website providing an “online home” for the chosen 500.
Within each business category, one person was chosen as the “Courvoisier The Future 500 One to Watch”. For the drinks trade, Underdog Group’s Will Beckett was chosen. Judges included Matt Hermer, founder of Ignite Group, and Ian Pengelley, creator of novelty Asian restaurant Gilgamesh in London’s Camden Town.
Jeanette Edwards, marketing controller at Beam Global UK, explained: “It is important that we focus on recruiting new cognac drinkers and driving value into the category. Our online network puts Courvoisier in the spotlight with some of the most successful people in the UK, creating ‘talkability’ around the brand within the luxury arena.”
