Relaunch for John Harvey & Sons
One of the UK's most renowned wine merchants John Harvey & Sons, now owned by Beam Global, is to be relaunched. Matthew Hudson, managing director, has been working on the web-based relaunch for the past 18 months. “We have a unique proposition with John Harvey & Sons and our aim is to develop the company by returning to its roots as a wine merchant and as a tool for selling the Beam portfolio beyond just Cockburn's and Bristol Cream,” commented Hudson.
The new website, www.johnharveyandsons.com, is now live offering consumers the possibility to buy from the company's portfolio of sherries, ports and fine wines. “We are aiming at those who are willing to spend more than £10 on a bottle of wine and will be looking to add new agencies to the range,” said Hudson. “The pitch is very much fine wine as we want to maximise the potential of the long-standing reputation of John Harvey & Sons.”
