Polish vodka targets… Poles
Polish vodka Sobieski has embarked on a London-based outdoor advertising campaign in sites specially selected to cover Polish communities.
The posters contain text in Polish, a move the brand believes will not only attract Polish speakers but also intrigue the rest of the population.
Global Brands are the UK distributor for the Sobieski and have secured an exclusive wholesale listing with Booker Cash & Carry. “An outdoor advertising campaign is the perfect way to introduce Sobieski into the UK,” comments managing director Steve Perez. “Latest figures show as many as 1 million Poles living in the UK with most living in London so the market for Polish products is huge. We believe Sobieski has the potential to be a big success in the UK and this investment is a real step towards increasing the brands profile in the UK.”
Sobieski is a quadruple-distilled 37.5 % vodka made from 100% Dankowski rye. The campaign began on Friday July 20 and is part of a much larger marketing operation which will continue in September.
