Dynamic Vines opens first wine bar
This week leading biodynamic and organic wine importer Dynamic Vines will be opening its first wine bar, having settled on a location in East Dulwich.
Founded in 2005 by sommelier Frederic Grappe, Dynamic Vines supplies wines to restaurants across the UK, with its extensive list of London stockists including Trullo, The Clove Club, Levan, 67 Pall Mall, The Dorchester and the Michelin-starred Frog by Adam Handling.
Now the Bermondsey-based company, which works with more than 60 producers, will be opening its own wine shop and bar to stock its imports. Though the majority of its producers are French, with an especially large number hailing from the Loire, outside of France it works with the likes of Abruzzo’s Emidio Pepe and Murcia’s La del Terreno.
As reported by Hot Dinners, the East Dulwich site Dynamic Vines has picked for its bar is on Lordship Lane, between Moxon’s Fishmonger and Mons Cheesemongers. There will be a terrace on the street, and cheese and charcuterie will be served to go along with the wines available.
It is als understood that the bar will be hosting visiting producers and regular tastings.
Southwark Council has issued the new site with a licence to sell alcohol to be consumed off-premise from 10am to 11pm every day of the week, and on-premise from 10am to 10.30pm, also every day of the week.
The bar is due to open tomorrow (19 November).
