Vintners imports a selection of wines from France, Italy, Spain, and beyond, and is recognised as the official distributor for a portfolio of 166 wineries. The importer works with partners across both on- and off-trade channels, including restaurants, hotels, wholesalers, and liquor stores.

The new partnership will enable Vintners to expand its German wine offering by bringing Dreissigacker’s Rieslings to Japanese wine lovers. Vintners operates from four strategic locations across Japan, including its head office in Tokyo and branches in Sapporo, Osaka, and Kyoto.

Takaho Nishimura, Import Manager at Vintners, said of the partnership: “We currently handle few German wineries so we are therefore very honored to be able to import Dreissigacker, a wonderful German producer. Their commitment to quality and craftsmanship aligns perfectly with our mission to deliver the best wines to our customers.”

Jochen Dreissigacker, who took over his family’s winery in 2001, said it is “extremely important to us to cultivate close partnerships in each of the countries where we distribute our wines”.

He added: “It is only through such relationships that we can effectively communicate to consumers the unique qualities, philosophy, passion and culture that make Dreissigacker so distinctive. We are confident that we have found that partner in Vintners and look forward to a strong and lasting relationship.”
