August brought with it a range of exciting events celebrating the legacy of China’s Longyu wine, exciting opportunities for Pisco in Shanghai and a gin & tonic party in Korea.

ASC’s Longyu media dinner at The Waldorf Astoria Shanghai

ASC Fine Wines, the exclusive distributor of Longyu in China, hosted wine media and key opinion leaders for a celebration of Longyu’s portfolio. Wines poured on the night included the Longyu Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Blanc de Noir, Long 8 Blended Varieties, Long Cabernet Sauvignon, Long 12 Cabernet Sauvignon and Blanc De Noir Cabernet Sauvignon

Hindsight Creative’s Ginsim Night

Hosted by Hindsight Creative Korea to promote Fevertree through a Gin & Tonic party, the event was designed to cultivate interest in gin among potential Korean consumers. The next event is scheduled for October with a different gin brand.

Nicolas Potel Vosne Romanee Les Petits Monts Vertical Tasting

This event, hosted by fine wine retailer Ginsberg + Chan on 17 August, showcased the unique personality of Les Petits Monts and revealed the signature of each vintage. These wines came direct from the Domaine in a unique vertical collection case to highlight its exceptional provenance.

Clemens Busch x Sichuan Paradise wine dinner

A fun and casual dining experience at Sichuan Paradise, well known for its aromatic and not-too-spicy Sichuan cuisine, was paired with an interesting wine lineup from agency Clemens Busch from Mosel, Germany. The event was organised and hosted by Ginsberg + Chan.

Alto del Carmen Pisco Academy Masterclasses and Training Sessions with Manuel Arce

Manuel Arce, Alto del Carmen brand ambassador for APAC & spirits director for Nimbility, hosted masterclasses in Shanghai at bar Yakitapa, as well as in Zhuhai. These were done in partnership with Summergate, the official importer of Alto del Carmen Pisco in China.
