The Languedoc comes to Edinburgh
On 6 November the Languedoc Tour: Chapter II comes to Edinburgh for a comprehensive drill-down on the southern French region.
For the second consecutive year, Languedoc wines will host a tasting event in Scotland’s capital, during which guests can explore a curated selection of more than 30 exceptional wines from the region.
Taking place on Monday 6 November from 1pm to 5pm at Dovecot Studios, there will be wines already present in the UK market to try, alongside some exciting wines looking for representation.
Visitors can expect an exclusive tasting with winemakers from the heart of Languedoc, including Domaine des Baronarques, Domaine de Malavieille, Domaine les Caizergues, Domaine UMA, La Grange and Terre des 2 Sources.
There will also be an engaging talk on the region, led by WSET educator Sam Povey, on the subject of ‘Young guns: Languedoc’s newest appellations’’.
Furthermore, the event will unveil a photography exhibition by acclaimed artist Georgia Glynn-Smith, one of the world’s leading food and lifestyle photographers.
Languedoc is a region teeming with vitality, where wines of character are crafted with passion and sustainability is a guiding principle, so don’t miss out on this rare opportunity to immerse yourself in the region without having to get on a plane.
