The bar, which has just launched in Manhattan, features golf simulators, bowling and cocktails and is a partnership with Nexus Luxury Collection and 8AM Golf.

According to reports, the unlikely union began between the PGA Tour star and the singer and actor due to a mutual love of sports and competing.

The 22,000 sq ft bar is located in the ground lobby of Emigrant Savings Bank on east 42nd Street and also features a members’ club and offers guests Full Swing golf simulators, bowling, darts and dining.

T-Squared Social became a reality following a conversation between friends Woods and Timberlake, and Nexus shareholders after they finished a round of golf at Albany in the Bahamas.

The friends admitted they had dreamed of building something that combined their passions and create a place that epitomised their love of competition, gaming, sports, music, entertainment and socialising.

Speaking about the launch of T-Squared Social, Timberlake said: “We knew a concept like T-Squared Social would thrive in New York. It’s a beautiful space that transcends the typical sports bar experience.”

Woods also explained: “Justin and I thought it would be cool to create a place that combines our favourite things and brings people together to just have a great time.”

The simulators give the options for visitors to play, virtually, on the world’s best courses, including: Pebble Beach, Torrey Pines and St. Andrews, with up to eight people at a time.

T-Squared Social also features four Duckpin Bowling lanes and three Dartsee bays along with a good menu that involves sharing courses such as short rib quesadillas, pork belly and popcorn and seafood platters to burgers, lobster rolls and wings and a drinks list offering cocktails including: Upstate Lumberjack, 8am Tee Time ‘Roni and Biri-Biri. Reservations-only box seats are also available and are positioned around a 200-inch television.

Those wanting to sign up to be a member of the exclusive club can do so for US$250 per quarter and gain early access to box seats as well as reserve any of the activities ahead of arrival.
