Gary Barlow launches organic Sauvignon Blanc and Blush wines

Gary Barlow Wines has launched its new Organic Sauvignon Blanc and Blush wines at an exclusive event at Harvey Nichols in Manchester this week.

Musician and entrepreneur Barlow was joined by family and guests, including chef Simon Rimmer, footballer Phil Jones, and celebrity influencers Coleen Rooney and Emma Neville, giving them the first opportunity to taste the new South African additions to his best-selling organic wine portfolio, created in collaboration with London-based drinks distributor Benchmark Drinks.

The range has now sold more than one million bottles since launching in 2021 and is one of the fast-growing organic brands in the UK, growing 140% year-on-year.

Barlow set out to South Africa earlier this year to search for the best organic Sauvignon grapes, resulting in the Gary Barlow Organic Sauvignon Blanc as an expressive medium-bodied wine. Crisp and zingy with intense gooseberry and green pepper flavours, the wine is tightly structured with a long finish and perfectly balanced acidity, the brand said.

Speaking of the launch, Barlow said: “It’s always wonderful to be back in Manchester and what a treat to be here celebrating this new wine. The success of the range continues to exceed my expectations. We’re the number one selling branded organic wine in the UK and the new Sauvignon Blanc is the perfect addition. I hope people enjoy it!”

Bryan Rodriguez, Buyer – Harvey Nichols Wine and Spirits added “We are proud and privileged to be working with Gary Barlow and the amazing UK wine distributor Benchmark Drinks, to launch unique wines to our customers, such as the latest South African Sauvignon Blanc and Sauvignon Blush.

“We look forward to continuing our work with Gary and the team at Benchmark Drinks to offer our customers new and exciting wines”.
