Everything you need to know about the 2023 Millésimes Alsace DigiTasting

From 27 February to 1 March, the Millésimes Alsace DigiTasting will be taking place, providing attendees from across the world with the chance to meet more than one hundred Alsace producers virtually.

Organised by the Alsace region’s generic promotional and marketing body, Conseil Interprofessionnel des Vins d’Alsace (CIVA), the three day online event will give visitors the opportunity to make contact with producers, organise meetings (using the online interface) and attend masterclasses.

The ‘So Trendy’ masterclass, on Monday 27 February, has slots at either 10am or 5pm CET (9am or 4pm GMT), with the option for it to be replayed. This webinar will delve into how Alsace is leading the way in terms of trends in the wine world. Speakers Jenni Wagoner (group wine director for Zuma and Oblix Restaurants), Yves Beck (author and wine critic) and Thierry Fritsch (oenologist, educator, and Alsace wines specialist) will be sharing their expertise. To accompany the talk, a selection of four wines can be sent to you, showcasing expressions of fresh, terroir-driven, sweet and red wines.

As a 100% trade fair, much of the focus of the event concerns why Alsace wines should be in your portfolio, but it will also offer insight into the dynamism of the region itself. Additionally, it also offers the opportunity for professionals to discuss/network among themselves, just like at a physical fair.
