Manchester City announce official Champagne partner
Though Manchester City are currently second in the Premier League table, the club has already sorted the celebratory fizz with its new partnership with Ballers Brands Ltd.
As part of the deal to be the Official Champagne Local Partner of Manchester City Football Club, Ballers Champagne, which was founded in 2015, will be served to VIPs in the Etihad Stadium’s premium hospitality areas.
Additionally, there will also be a range of club-branded bottles. The limited-edition Ballers Champagne Manchester City lineup currently contains a Brut (30% Chardonnay/30% Pinot Noir/40% Meunier, aged for 36 months) and a rosé (also 30% Chardonnay/30% Pinot Noir/40% Meunier, also aged for 36 months). There is also £150 collector’s edition (30% Chardonnay/70% Pinot Noir, aged for 48 months), with the bottle sporting the club’s signature sky blue colouring, and complete with a velvet-lined piano lacquered box. The wine itself is produced by La Maison Penet in Montagne de Reims.
Speaking at the launch, Ballers Champagne CEO Nathan Bullas said: “The finest sporting performances are driven by excellence, and in our pursuit and dedication to producing premium beverages, we invest years to create products that never compromise on our high standards. The best should be celebrated with the best, and we look forward to hopefully celebrating many more trophy wins with a glass of Ballers Champagne in hand.”
Danny Wilson, managing director of Manchester City operations, added: “Aligning with our values of excellence and success, Ballers Champagne is the latest brand to be welcomed to the Etihad Stadium, as we look for new opportunities to further enhance the fan experience and offerings for those in attendance. We look forward to working together throughout this partnership.”
Earlier this year, Asahi was announced as the official beer of the club.
