British producers to take centre stage at London Wine Fair 2023

As part of a new layout planned for next year’s London Wine Fair, British producers will take a much more central position at the exhibition, which takes place on 15-17 May.

It was announced last week that the 2023 event will have “a new look and feel” as well as a fresh floorplan that would see, notably, WineGB and Drinks Britannia move much nearer the centre of the Grand Hall – a departure from their previous positions towards the back of this large space.

Explaining the reason for the change, the London Wine Fair said it was driven by both the increase in numbers of British drinks brands taking stands at the fair, and the fact that wines from the UK were the most searched for by country on this year’s digital exhibitor list.

Among other changes due to take place in 2023, The Discovery Zone has been relocated next to Centre Stage, giving the fair’s tech content a position at the heart of the event.

Also new to 2023, the gallery area has been reserved for premium pop-ups and masterclasses.

Meanwhile, Centre Stage will host the results of the LWF Wine Buyers Awards for 2023.
