Simply Italian GREAT WINES – 1 October
Join us on 1 October for a full-day immersion into an incredible range of Italian wine at the fabulous One Great George Street in London.
This year’s event will see producers from across Italy showcasing the diversity, quality and surprises of Italian wine. The event will include a walk-around general tasting plus two masterclasses, to get you up-to-speed on new vintages and the latest trends.

Masterclasses
Pinot Grigio delle Venezie DOC Masterclass at 11am, presented by Patrick Schmitt MW
A tasting of 8 Pinot grigio of Consorzio Pinot Grigio delle Venezie DOC.
Pinot grigio DOC delle Venezie represents the second Italian appellation for bottle production, the biggest area in the world (26.000+ hectares, 45% of the world surfaces), entirely certificated and origin controlled. Such an important appellation is the result of the participation of a lot of wineries: within this tasting you will have the chance to taste small family conduction wineries, the jewels of this beautiful great PDO.
Wines from the Marches Region Masterclass at 3.30pm, presented by Peter McCombie MW
The masterclass by Istituto Marchigiano di Tutela Vini will showcase 9 great wines of following selected wineries: Casalfarneto, Filodivino, Garofoli, Marotti Campi, La Staffa, Santa Barbara, Terre Di Serrapetrona, Togni e Umani Ronchi.
