Hong Kong award-winning mixologists release RTD cocktail Chako

Renowned Hong Kong mixologists Antonio Lai and Alex Ko have co-created a new range of RTD canned sparkling tea cocktail Chako.

With the rise of demand for casual drinking in Hong Kong, Antonio Lai and Alex Ko decide to break into the RTD market. After spending a year of effort in R&D, the duo came up with CHAKO, a ready-to-drink canned sparkling tea cocktail concept, to life. The products are 100% manufactured locally in their own factory in Hong Kong, under the canned cocktail brand CAN-TO CANS and monitored by a professional team for the finest quality.

CHAKO rolls out in three flavours which are invented with the goal of achieving an utmost balance of multi-layered textures and aromatic flavours.

The Peach & Ginger Oolong is a vodka-based cocktail of peach with just enough sweetness to complement the bright and floral taste of Oolong tea, enlivened with an underlying spiciness from gingers; Gin-based Apple & Elderflower White Tea imparts a delightful honeyed fragrance emanating from the elderflower blossom, along with notes of white tea’s gentle herbal flavour and touches of crisp apple; Mango & Blood Orange Tie Guan Yin has a long-lasting aroma of Tie Guan Yin tea leaves with the company of mangoes and blood oranges, which the resulting profile shows gentle tartness, intriguing fruitiness, and a toasty undertone.

Featuring self-brewed tea as the foundation of the series, every ingredient, ranging from tea leaves, spirits and natural fruit extracts, is carefully considered. To create a delightful mouthfeel, the drink is implemented with carbonation for a comforting bubbly tang.

The Chako RTD all contain 7% ABV and are priced at HK$38 per can.
