Martin Miller’s gin supports London art fair
Martin Miller’s Gin has announced a partnership with StART Art Fair, a contemporary art fair held at the prestigious Saatchi Gallery in London.
The art fair, which takes place from 12 to 16 October, was founded in 2014 to provide a springboard for emerging artists from around the world. In 2021 it showcased the work of more than 70 artists, from countries including South Africa, Ecuador, Portugal, Colombia, India, Austria, and Korea, welcoming more than 15,000 visitors to the exhibition.
As the official gin sponsor of the fair, the gin brand will open a branded lounge on site, serving a selection of ‘surreal’ serves that have been created by global brand bartender Danil Nevsky, and inspired by the origins of the premium gin brand.
It will also sponsor a new art prize, The Martin Miller’s Gin StART Emerging Art Prize 2022, as a launch platform for London-based artists. The winner will receive £5,000. Artists need to submit an artwork on the theme of transformation, with the winner having the opportunity to have their artwork placed onto a limited-edition run of Martin Miller’s Gin bottles, that will be launched at next year’s show.
A gallery space at the show will also showcase artists’ work in a group show, curated by American artist Louis Chapple.
