Strictly women-only club night is coming to the UK
A club night with a strict “no men allowed policy” is coming to the United Kingdom to provide a safe space for women and transgender people to party.
Lick Events is embarking on a tour of the United Kingdom with its “for women, by women” club night which is set to visit Brighton, Birmingham, Manchester and London. More events are reportedly in the works.
Lick Events aims to provide a safe space for women and transgender people to enjoy a night of clubbing, with acts such as Monique B, Janelle Wynter and Miller Black providing the soundtrack with DJ sets.
A video posted by the company that provides a look at the club night in action recently went viral with over one million views on TikTok.

And commenters were enthused about the prospect of a women-only club night.
“Where is this i wanna go!” one TikTok user wrote, while a second added, “it’s like all the drunken love in women’s bathroom in a club – but it’s the whole club! ✨paradise✨”.
“This is like heaven on earth omg where is this located” a third commenter wrote of the women-only club night.
On their TikTok page, Lick Events also answer questions from would-be attendees. In one such video, the company revealed that they offer free taxis home for trans women of colour at their London events.
