Dom Pérignon to deliver fizz by yacht during Art Basel Miami
The Champagne house will deliver bubbly via a customised yacht to the rich and famous who flock to Miami Beach for the famous art fair.
Art Basel Miami Beach 2021 takes place this week from 2 – 4 December, and one prestigious fizz house has announced it will deliver cases of its Champagne directly to yachts moored off shore.
Dom Pérignon has announced it has launched a Yacht Concierge service, which will deliver bubbly to boats or beachside residences, transported by a customised Dom Pérignon yacht.
In scenes reminiscent of a James Bond film, the Champagne house’s vessel will sail along Biscayne Bay to offer white glove delivery across three packages.
There’s the “Icon” package, which includes 33 vintage Champagnes, along with ice chests, glassware, and a food pairing of crab and caviar for US$30,000. The experience also comes with a personal tasting by a Champagne expert.
The “Energy” package will bag buyers 12 bottles of Dom Pérignon including 1.5-litre magnums of its 2008 vintage that light up in the dark, also with caviar and crab, glassware and ice buckets. This one will set you back US$10,000.
Finally, the “Harmony” package features nine bottles of the brand’s latest Blanc 2010 and Rosé 2006 vintages, alongside Dom Pérignon glassware, ice bucket, caviar and a Champagne presentation for US$5,000.
The Dom Perignon yacht concierge can be reserved with 24-hour advance notice via Our Cellar throughout the entirety of Art Basel.
The popular art fair, held at the Miami Convention Center, will showcase 253 art galleries from 36 countries and territories, 43 of which will be taking part in the event for the first time.
