db recommends: Simply Italian GREAT WINES (SIGW) seminar series
Simply Italian GREAT WINES (SIGW) seminar series returns to London on 21 October, providing attendees with outstanding access to tastings and information linked to Italy’s most revered wine regions.
Journey through the wines of Italy through a series of eight intimate seminars and masterclasses, which cover everything from the art of blending to the different sub-zones of Chianti.
This full-day immersion will bring you up to speed with the latest from eight of Italy’s different wine regions, including Abruzzo, Asti, Collio, Delle Venezie, Chianti, Custoza, Garda and Marche. Guided tastings will help bring you closer to the riches that each appellation has to offer.
The London event is being held in conjunction with leading Italian wine expert Walter Speller, Jane Hunt MW and Decanter contributor Emily O’Hare.
The seminars will take place at Church House Westminster in Deans Yard, London, on Thursday 21 October, with seminars at regular intervals between 10am-6pm. While most seminars have been completely booked, the organisers expect places will become available on the day.
A full 84-page tasting catalogue produced by Hunt & Speller is also available online now, featuring 70 producers and more than 400 wines from the most sought-after regions of Italy.
