M&S unveils glittering gin liqueurs as part of 2021 Christmas range
It may still be September, but the countdown to Christmas has already begun for supermarket chain Marks & Spencer, with the release of the 2021 M&S Christmas range, complete with gin liqueur snow globes and a light-up chocolate box.
Launching in stores today (10 September), the M&S Christmas food range has everything from light-up shortbread houses to Christmas pudding truffles.
The star of the show, however, has to be the snow globe liqueurs, hotly anticipated after selling out last year. Joining the popular Clementine gin liqueur is an appropriately festive Spiced Sugar Plum gin flavour. The supermarket has also added its first rum liqueur to the line, flavoured with Madagascan Vanilla.
Bottles of the liqueur are certainly impressive spectacles; complete with edible silver leaf to look like snowflakes, they light up to emulate a real snow globe.
And that’s not all M&S has rounded up for their perfect festive feast. The Marksologist range (get it) is a set of six ready-to-drink cocktails, retailing at £18 per 50cl bottle.
Flavours include pre-mixed margarita, espresso martini, passion star martini, clover club, golden negroni and aged rum and cacao old fashioned.
Move over Bailey’s, because this year Marks and Spencer has created their own Golden Blond cream liqueur to go with a chocolate spread and panettone of the same flavour. And if that wasn’t enough chocolate to put you into a food coma for all of boxing day, the supermarket has also come out with a light-up chocolate box. Each chocolate is shaped like a little house amidst a Christmas scene with glittering stars.
