I’ve been there; you’ve been there; we’ve all been there. Perhaps its a weekday evening and you’ve had a hard day at work; all you want to do is crack open a nice, cold bottle of wine. But disaster strikes: you’ve forgotten to put it in the fridge in the morning, and thus it’s lukewarm and unappealing.

Until now, perhaps you have been sinking beneath your despair and lopping the bottle in the freezer to try and cool it down quickly enough to enjoy that evening.

Yet as we all know, a glass bottle in the freezer comes with its own perils, and besides, it’s still going to take a while to chill nicely.

Well, one mom has a solution to your weekday woes, and it’s a really clever one.

Taking to Instagram to share her clever hack, Australia-based mom Leanne revealed what you’ll need to do.

First, get yourself a bowl and fill it up with cold tap water. Next, add some ice and two tablespoons of salt. Then simply place your bottle of wine into the bowl to chill and it should be perfectly cold and ready-to-drink in just 15 minutes.

Excited? You should be.
