Ranked: The NFL teams with the drunkest fans in 2021

Drinking may go hand in glove with a day out at the game: right from the tailgate before kick off through to the pint nervously thrown back at your seat. But some fans drink more than others at games, and the NFL team with the drunkest fans is a surprising one.

Yes, drunk fans are practically synonymous with professional sport in the same way that onion pairs with garlic and Aaron Rodgers not being given a decent offensive line every year.

But who are the NFL teams with the drunkest fans?

Well, a survey from SportsHandle, who questioned NFL fans across the country about their drinking habits, has the answer.

Cincinnati Bengals fans ranked top of the list, averaging some 5.2 beverages per game, spending on average $43.08.

The most frugal – and least drunk – fans are to be found at Levi’s Stadium, where San Francisco 49ers fans average just 2.6 drinks per game at a spend of $30.58.
