Christie’s to offer rare wines and spirits at London sale
Auctioneer Christie’s next fine wine sale in London will feature three “superb” private collections which includes vintages of Château Latour and Lafite dating back to 1900, as well as rare Burgundy and spirits.

The sale will take place on 10-11 December and features consignments of rare wines and spirits.
The first collection features many first growths including 1989 Haut-Brion but also 1900, 1945 and 1989 Château Latour, including magnums of the 1961 vintage (£30,000-40,000).
The second consignment meanwhile includes several bottles of 1900 Château Lafite as well as grand and premier cru wines from Domaine Bouchard and “venerable” vintages of Penfolds Grange.
The third consignment includes rare vintages of Domaine Ravenau as well as vintage Champagne from Krug and Bollinger.
The sale also features rare spirits in the shape of whisky and Cognac including Royal Salute, 37 bottles of the Middleton ‘Very Rare Vintage Collection’ (pictured) spanning 1984-2020 and a bottle of 1780 The Harewood Light Rum (£15,000-20,000).
