Famed director unveils latest ‘Art+Wine Collection’
Francis Ford Coppola has announced the latest limited edition offer in his ‘Art+Wine’ collection series, that includes 24 wines from his California estate and a signed copy of the script from his 1974 movie ‘The Conversation’.
The latest offer includes 24 bottles from the ‘Director’s Cut’ range of wines, four bottles each of the Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc and two bottles each of the ‘Cinema’ and ‘Technicolour’ cuvées.
In addition, a signed copy of the script to The Conversation is included in the deal. Now considered a classic and part of the great wave of American films of the 1970s, it won the Grand Prix at the Cannes festival and ultimately only lost out on winning Best Picture at the 1974 Oscars to ‘The Godfather Part II’… which was also directed by Coppola.
A download code for the film that can be redeemed through several platforms and an invitation to a live, online conversation wit the director are included in the package.
The only caveat is the price, US$800 for the whole collection although that does work out at $33 a bottle if the script is counted as free.
