Pennywise Punch – Tequila Mockingbird
This Halloween cocktail comes with a bang, promising to be a bloody assault on the senses. Created by mixologist, Zinio Fernandes and inspired by Stephen King’s novel-turned film, ‘IT’, Pennywise Punch features a white coconut rum and pineapple base, topped with a sticky blood-like chilli jam around the rim. An additional flavour comes from a single red balloon attached to the glass, which when popped will release an aroma to complement each spooky sip. Make sure to head down to any of Tequila Mockingbird’s four venues to try ‘IT’, priced at £9.50 and available from 28 October to 3 November.

London punters can head down to The Hansom bar from 28 October to 3 November to sip and savour The Devilishly Hanson. This creepy cocktail combination of strawberry purée, Bold London spirit, chilli-infused Mezcal and Grenadine topped with zesty lime juice, was created by The Hansom team. At £9, the cocktail comes with a devilish garnish of red chilli horns and is sure to spice up your Halloween celebration.

Two themed cocktails will feature at this years Halloween event, ‘The Cursed Voyage of HMS Berners’, hosted by The London Edition, Project 0, and celebrity guests at the Berners Tavern. The Aegean Spritzwreck made from Grey Goose Vodka, Mastica, citric acid, Spirulina syrup, Brine, and Prosseco, and the Lost Espresso Martini made from Grey Goose Vodka, St Teresa 1796, Espresso coffee, Salted caramel and a seaweed garnish, will both be available for £14. Meanwhile a £130 ticket will buy you one complementary cocktail, a three-course dinner, and an immersive evening of music and entertainment. The event is set to take place on 31 October from 7.30pm – 2am, with a third of all ticket sales donated to ocean conservation charity Project 0.

For £11 each, they can be supped alongside a Halloween inspired a la carte menu and variety of devilish desserts. The cocktails include: the Bloody Castle, made with Gin, Quince and Blackcurrant blood, Lemon and Soda; the Thorn Bush brew made with Gin, Blackberry liqueur, Lemon and Black ice; Club Night, a mix of Vodka, White Port, Orange bitters and Gold glitter; Widow’s Kiss, a creepy concoction of Calvados, Yellow Chartreuse, Benedictine and Bitters; and, Venom. a serve of Rye whiskey, Absinthe, Venom foam and Lemon.

Werewolf – The Mezzanine
The newly-launched Mezzanine Bar at The Stratford hotel has prepared two new chilling concoctions for Halloween, available for the foreseeable future.
To start, the Super-Natural is a bright, delicately fruity and floral mix of Grey Goose La Poire Vodka, Apple wine, St Germain, Lemon, Carbonated Garden and Wild fennel (£15).
While the slightly headier Werewolf is made with Stoly Elite Vodka, Pumpkin seeds, Maple syrup, Black citrus, and “purple Carrot bitter witch powder”, will leave you howling into the night (£10).
