ProWein takes education campaign back to India
ProWein’s seminar series ‘Made by ProWein’ will return to India this September as part of an educational campaign in the Asian country.
The campaign will take place during the second edition of Food & Hotel India (FHIN) which is being held at the Bombay Convention & Exhibition Centre from 18-20 September.
It will offer trade visitors – principally sommeliers and wine importers – tastings, workshops, discussion forums and presentations on wines and spirits in association with the Wine and Spirit Education Trust and All Things Nice (a leading marketing and consulting agency for wines and spirits in India).
Bastian Mingers, global head of wine & spirits and director of ProWein, said: “A very attractive sales market is currently emerging in India. Especially at this stage the market needs plenty of orientation.
“The avid interest in the ProWein Education Campaign 2018 has demonstrated that we are on the right track here with our partners WSET and All Things Nice and delivering the right content. The good response has encouraged us to look to the future and drive the project further.”
The first edition of FHIN in September last year was attended by 70 exhibitors and 5,000 visitors.
