Pop singer Pink has sold out of her debut release of Californian wine label Two Wolves, selling all 114 cases just one day after launching.

The cases are made up of three blended wines made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot, which range from US$60 to $90, and were available to buy online in nine US states and in Washington DC.
The three wines include: a 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon ($90), made from 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc, and 4% Petit Verdot; a 2015 Cabernet Franc ($60) which also contains 5% Cabernet Sauvignon; and a 2015 Petit Verdot ($60), which also contains 20% Cabernet Franc.
Pink’s passion for wine was ignited when she tasted a Châteauneuf-du-Pape in her twenties: “That was the a-ha wine for me, the first one. And then it sort of just became a rabbit hole for me,” she told the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Then, in 2013, she bought a 25-acre organic vineyard in Santa Barbara County, California, before taking classes with the Wine & Spirit Education Trust and UCLA.
Five years after buying the vineyard, and keeping her passion for winemaking a secret from the public, Pink launched the Two Wolves label.
Wine connoisseurs (and pop fans) who missed the first release won’t have to wait very long for another chance at getting their hands on the singer’s wine, as Two Wolves plans to release a second batch online in April 2019.
The label plans to begin selling wholesale in the autumn, with the intention of becoming more widely available. Until then, you can keep up with the winemaking process on Instagram.
