Entries open for Asian Tequila & Mezcal Masters 2019

This April the drinks business Hong Kong will stage The Asian Tequila & Mezcal Masters 2019 competition to find and reward the finest global Tequila and mezcal brands in the Asian Market.

Judged by a panel of leading spirits specialists, the Tequilas and mezcals will be assessed in a blind tasting by 10 judges to determine the Asian World Tequila & Mezcal Masters of 2019.

Judged by some of Hong Kong’s key trade buyers, the competition is an ideal platform for distilleries and producers to raise awareness of their brands in Asia. 

The samples will be judged by category, age and design and packaging. Silver, Gold and Master medals will be awarded in each category. There are no limits to the number of medals awarded in each category, with medals going to the winning spirits based on quality rather than quantity. 

Should your Tequila or mezcal be awarded a medal, there will be an opportunity to display your Tequila or mezcal at the drinks business‘ booth in future international events such as the Hong Kong International Wine and Spirits Fair.

The results will be published in the drinks business Hong Kong print edition and website, as well as on all of our social media platforms and in a newsletter in both English and Chinese. 

The official registration deadline is 15 March, and the sample deadline for arrival is 12 April. Each entry should be submitted with two samples.
