Follador to present its Brut Nature Prosecco at Vinitaly
Prosecco producer Follador is expected to draw attention to its new, vegan friendly, low-calorie sparkler at this year’s Vinitaly as the winery launches a new promotional video to explain the ‘Gianfranco Follador Method’.
Launched last month, the Brut Nature Millesimato Pas Dosé Prosecco is described as a “structured and harmonious Prosecco in which the mineral notes stand out”. Owing to its lower sugar content, the fizz has around 60 calories per glass, compared to around 86 which is the norm, according to Drinkaware. It is also vegan-friendly, which will appeal to around 600,000 vegans currently living in Italy, according to the producer.
“Veganism no longer belongs to a small minority, and is certainly destined to grow in popularity,” Follador stated in a recent news release.
Follador Prosecco will exhibiting at booth B2 in Hall 5 at Vinitaly.
In the run up to the Italian trade fair, the wine producer has also unveiled a new promotional video entitled ‘The Gianfranco Follador Method’. The viewer is taken on journey from grape to glass and taken through the various technical steps that form part of the process.
The video is narrated by Francesca Follador who helps to explain the method pioneered by her father.
Finally, following its recent web site redesign, Follador will soon be launching an online store featuring the entire range of its Proseccos.
Once launched, the service will be available to the Italian market first.
“It is a great undertaking which we are working toward completing with great effort. We want it to be as intuitive, functional and safe as possible, to guarantee all users a simple, fast and pleasant shopping experience,” the brand stated.
“It will be a showcase of all our products, from the prestigious D.O.C.G. Valdobbiadene Superiore, to the sparkling wines of the Classic line to the Frizzanti, each accompanied by technical sheets. These are pages that contain complete descriptions of the wine, the winemaking process, analytical data, nutritional values and the organoleptic profiles of each wine. Usually used within the trade, it is becoming increasingly evident that consumers like to be just as educated about the wine they are buying”.
