The City Wine Show returns in 2018

Following the success of the inaugural City Wine Show in September last year, the drinks business is pleased to announce that the second edition will take place this year in April.

The Discovery Zone at last year’s show.

The second City Wine Show and the drinks business’ fourth consumer wine show is returning to London, taking oenophiles on a tour of the world’s key wine producing countries.

Having held The Chelsea Wine Show for two consecutive years, last year the drinks business changed both its name and venue, but its spirit remained the same.

Showcasing the very best companies involved in wine, be they merchants or producers, the City Wine Show is open to both those in the drinks trade and wine enthusiasts from across London.

It showcases new products in a dedicated sampling section as well as beers and gin, while in the Discovery Zone, guests can sample award-winning wines that impressed the judges in The Drinks Business Global Masters series.

Attendees can meet and talk to our exhibitors, which last year included Champagne house Piper-Heidsieck, wine auctioneer iDealwine.com, wine tour operator Arblaster & Clarke, Portuguese wine importer Portuguese Vinhos and historic Chilean estate Viña Casa Silva.

With the goal to be informative but informal, with a firm emphasis on fun, we will once again be offering free masterclasses, hosted by industry experts including db‘s editor-in-chief, Patrick Schmitt MW.

Join us this year on 13 and 14 April at the Stationer’s Hall, Ave Maria Lane, London EC4M 7DD.

The show will open from 1pm to 9pm on Friday 13 April and from 1pm to 8pm on Saturday 14 April.

The trade is welcome from 1pm to 5pm on Friday, register here for an invite.

For more information about exhibiting, please contact Chloé Beral on chloe@thedrinksbusiness.com or on +44 207 803 2437.

The popular masterclasses will return in 2018.
