Castel Freres has announced the appointment of Anne Burchett to the new role of managing director for Castel UK
Alain Castel, head of the wine division for the Castel group, says, “We are delighted to welcome Anne Burchett to Castel. We are glad to have someone of Anne’s calibre and experience joining the team. Anne has almost 20 years’ experience in the wine trade and brings with her excellent marketing and brandbuilding expertise coupled with a solid understanding of the UK wine market.”
Burchett comments, “I am thrilled to be joining such a dynamic and forwardthinking business at a critical time in its growth plan. Castel UK has a very talented team, which I look forward to working within.”
This summer marketing activity includes Castel’s presence as the official wine at the London Jazz Festival 2005, sampling at a number of concerts during the 10-day event and promoting its new 10-track CD of “NuFrench Sound” Parisian lounge grooves.
