BYOB Winterland opens in Fulham
Winterland – a panoply of festive entertainment – has opened in Fulham and will allow attendees to bring their own wine on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
First came Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park and then Winterville in Clapham Common, but Jack Frost has stretched his spindly fingers to SW6 for London’s latest festive pop-up.
Due to open next month, Winterland replaces Neverland, a BYOB street food focused beach, which took over Fulham this summer.
According to the Evening Standard, Winterland promises everything from enchanted forests and festive cocktails to cosy winter lodges – there is event talk of a trio of Thames-side igloos.
The adults only winter playground will also feature table tennis, beer and Prosecco pong and a quartet of Olympic-sized curling lanes.
Entry to Winterland costs £5 and on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights guests can bring their own wine and spirits along with them.
Celebrity chef Jimmy Garcia will be whipping up comforting carb-laden delights like fondue, raclette and burgers from his pop-up winter lodge.
