Belvedere launches 2017 red edition to support fight against HIV/AIDS

Polish vodka brand Belvedere has launched the 2017 limited edition red bottle, in partnership with (RED), to support the work of The Global Fund and its fight against HIV/AIDS in Africa.

The 2017 edition features an illustration of the Polish presidential palace in Warsaw and the bottle has a pearl-matte finish. Since the launch of Belvedere RED, the bottles have funded treatment for over 40,000 women living with HIV and has helped stop the transmission to their children.

The new bottle will be available in 70cl, 75cl and 1.75l formats at selected retailers around the work this autumn.

Rodney Williams, president of Belvedere Vodka, commented: “Our longstanding partnership with (RED) has been a remarkable journey, and remains crucial to our values and what we stand for.”

“Belvedere’s ability to raise awareness and become a critical part of the fight for an AIDS-free generation, is something we take great pride in.”

Deborah Dugan, CEO of (RED), added: “Belvedere’s continued support of the AIDS fight with (RED) drives real impact where it is needed most, enabling mothers and their children to live healthy, productive lives, and helping ensure that this generation and the next can contribute to communities and economies where they live and beyond.”

“We couldn’t be more grateful for the money and heat Belvedere brings to this critical global issue”.
