Pommery appoints In The Bag PR ahead of sparkling wine launch

Champagne producer Pommery has appointed In The Bag PR to manage its external press relations and communications for the coming year.

Working closely with the communications team at Pommery UK, In the Bag PR will raise the drinks maker’s consumer and trade profiles as part of a 12-month communication strategy.

The new partnership comes shortly after Pommery announced it will launch a range of English and Californian sparkling wines range later this year.

In The Bag PR developed strong ties with Champagne Pommery after the team’s continued involvement in the Pommery Dorset Seafood Festival.

Part of Vranken-Pommery-Monopole and founded in 1858, the Grand Marque Champagne house exports world-renowned vintages across the globe.

Anna Wallis, Communications for Champagne Pommery, said: “We have an exciting opportunity ahead with respect to our investment in the English sparkling wine market as well as increasing visibility across our champagnes in general.
