New Name For Nastro
Nastro Azzuro is to be renamed.
SABmiller has launched a global brand strategy for Nastro Azzuro. The premium Italian beer will be renamed Peroni Nastro Azzurro in export markets and the trademark red, blue and white label has been updated with a more contemporary feel. The beer will be introduced into a numbr of SABMiller’s international markets where it does not already have a presence. Chris Taylor, international brand director for SABMiller says, "In Peroni we have a brand that encapsulates the Italian Spirit and passion for life and we are tremendously excited by its worldwide potential." Peroni will be supported by a £3.5m campaign comprising print and outdoor ads and UK cinema commercials.
