Jamie Oliver to open third restaurant in Hong Kong

British celebrity chef Jamie Oliver will open his third restaurant venture in Hong Kong, following openings of Jamie’s Italian in Causeway Bay and Tsim Sha Tsui, promising to bring “fast, honest and responsibly sourced” food to the city.

Different from Jaime’s Italian, the new venture, Jamie’s Deli, will be promoting a “fun, casual dine in and takeaway experience centred around simple and fresh everyday ingredients”, according to the company.

This is the fifth Jamie’s Deli branch, joining a portfolio of restaurants that include a venue in the UK’s Bath, Norway’s Oslo, Germany’s Dusseldorf and France’s Nice.

“Jamie’s Deli is all about good, rustic food that’s always fresh and responsibly sourced, served fast,” said Jamie Oliver.

“It takes grab-and-go food to a new level – top quality salads, hot deli items, artisan pizzas, sandwiches and pastries that you can eat on the fly if you’re in a rush, or sit down and enjoy in a relaxed environment if you’ve got time to kill. Anyone can come in and feel welcome – whether they’re just stopping by for a quick bite, or in for the long-haul.”

The restaurant, located inside Harbour City in Tsim Sha Tsui will be managed by Oliver’s Hong Kong partner Big Cat Group, which also manages Jamie’s Italian.
