Herti launches new daughter company

Bottle closure company Herti has established a new daughter company, Herti US Inc, in California.

Herti US Inc will distribute the full range of Herti’s products to the American market and will help to increase brand recognition.

Herti’s first daughter company was established in 2002 in Romania, a second in the UK and France in 2007 and another in Germany in 2013. These companies contribute around 30% of the total turnover.

The US was identified as ‘a big potential market’ for all of Herti’s products, and in particular, its wine closures as ‘more and more wineries start to use the convenient and environmentally friendly screwcap.’

Carrying out market research, Herti have exhibited at the Unified Wine & Grape Symposium in California for the past two years. This experience confirmed their hunch that ‘there is a potential for growth for Herti in the region.’

A spokesman for Herti, commenting on the recent launch, said: “We are convinced that Herti US will contribute to our innovation capacity and expand market share, keeping the focus on quality and good service.”

“Herti’s mission is to satisfy to the highest degree the requirements of our clients and partners to supply high quality products and solutions that strengthen the company’s position on the world market.”

“Herti is working to approach new markets and products by establishing subsidiaries in strategic countries and continuous development of innovative products, technologies, processes and business models according to the market requirements”.
