Italian wine expert, Michael Palij MW, will share with us his deep knowledge of Italy and guide us through the tasting of specially selected wines (including some iconic expressions) from 6 different wine regions across Italy during dinner. We will cover regions from north to south, including Piemonte, Friuli, Veneto, Tuscany, Marche and Puglia.
Michael Palij MW
Born in Canada, Michael emigrated to the UK in 1989 and qualified as a Master of Wine in 1995 at the age of just 29. He first visited Italy as a wine buyer in 1994. Michael is now a recognised leading specialist on emerging Italian fine wines. Through the many tastings conducted around the world, Michael has shared his passion and his detailed knowledge of what is arguably one of the wine world’s most complicated and fascinating producer countries, with wine trade professionals and enthusiasts, in his unique and animated style.
