Latour appoints new regional account manager
Louis Latour Agencies has bolstered its sales team with the appointment of Mentzendorff’s Nina Sears.
Sears will take on her new role as Regional Account Manager for the Midlands, Wales and the South-West in mid-March, taking over from Richard Oldman, who is retiring at the end of March.
During her eight years at Metzendorff, Sears looked after national accounts including Berry Bros & Rudd and The Wine Society and worked with Latour’s md, Will Oatley, who moved from Metzendorff to head up the agency in October 2013. She previously worked at Nyetimber and Hatch Mansfield.
The London-based agency, which celebrated its 25th anniversary last year, is the UK subsidiary of Burgundy wine house Maison Louis Latour and supplies independent retailers, wholesalers, restaurants and hotels across the UK.
It recently increased its portfolio, adding Champagne Gosset and Cognac Frapin last year, followed by South African estate Morgenhof in January.
Other wineries in the portfolio includes Craggy Range, Henry Fessy, Vidal-Fleury, McHenry Hohnen, Simmonet-Febvre, Wakefield and Viu Manent.
