Yquem opens door to visitors
Château d’Yquem is to open its doors to paying visitors for the first time, it has been announced.
Visitors will be able to visit every day of the week, with three tours taking place a day.
From Monday to Friday these will run at 9.30am, 2pm and 4pm and at 10.30am, 2pm and 4pm on Saturday and Sunday.
The guided tour of the winery lasts 90 minutes and includes a tasting of one vintage of Yquem and one of its ‘Y’ dry white wines.
A maximum of 12 people will be allowed per visit at a cost of €60 per person. All visits must be reserved in advance.
