Washington and NY wine lands in M&S
Upmarket British retailer Marks and Spencer is welcoming two new US wines to its shelves – but they aren’t the typical Californian offerings.

From the West Coast, Washington producer Hedges Family Estate has created a bespoke Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon with the M&S team.
From the East Coast, M&S buyers selected red and white cuvées from America’s oldest wine producer, The Brotherhood Winery in New York State.
All three wines will be on sale by June of this year.
The wines are being supplied by US wine specialist Roberson Wine. It reports that off-trade sales of wine from North America has grown by 110%.
“Over the years we’ve often seen that where our on-trade clients lead, our off-trade clients will follow” said Ian Stirling, off-Trade sales Manager at Roberson Wine.
