Getting into the festive spirit for wine lovers in Vancouver has now become even easier with an ‘advent calendar’ containing 25 bottles to unwrap and drink every day in the lead up to Christmas.

The team behind start-up wine company, New District, have worked with local sommeliers to dream up a box containing “full-sized bottles of ‘B.C’s best vinos’” reported Vancouver news site, Vancitybuzz.

Each bottle is worth up to $100 and are offered wrapped, numbered and in a white pine box. Apparently, it was created primarily to expose wine drinkers to a wider variety of locally made wine which includes bottles from Okanagan wineries, including Lock & Worth, Stag’s Hollow, Church & State Wines and Le Vieux Pin.

The advent calendar retails for $850 including shipping and limited quantities are available online from New District for orders made before 26 November.

    Good evening

I would like to purchase the wine advent calender you have. Can you confirm do you sell a
All red bottle calender? How much is the calender and how long will it take to arrive?

    Kind regards
    Mr forde
